Itinerary

MILAN – GENOA – LA SPEZIA – ROME

Day 1: Milan

On arrival in Milan, be transferred from the airport to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to discover the city. Spend the night in Milan.

Day 2: Milan to Genoa (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before making your way to Milan Centrale Station to board a train to Genoa. On arrival make your way to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the city with a Hop-On Hop-Off bus ticket. Overnight in Genoa.

Day 3: Genoa to La Spezia (B)

Following breakfast, board a train to La Spezia, gateway to the famous Cinque Terre. Your two-day Cinque Terre Train Card, provides access to the National Park area and is valid for travel on the regional trains and buses that connect the villages. Stay in La Spezia for the next two nights.

Day 4: La Spezia (B)

Today is free to continue exploring the Cinque Terre and Ligurian Coast. Taste local delicacies or visit one of the region’s famed terraced vineyards.

Day 5: La Spezia to Rome (B)

Early this morning board a high-speed train to Rome. On arrival make your own way to your hotel before spending the remainder of the day discovering Rome. The Vatican Museums with Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, the Roman Forum and Colosseum are absolute must sees. Alternatively, gastronomy enthusiasts can take a cooking class to learn how to prepare Italian specialties such as pasta, pizza, or tiramisù. Stay overnight in Rome.

Day 6: Rome (B)

After breakfast, make your own way to your next destination.
